I just finished sewing some clothes for my Taeyang Colin!doll... ^^;

I am really happy with the results considering this is the first time I've ever attempted to customize one of my dolls! This is what he originally looked like: CLICK!

I got him a new pair of eyes (although he'll get darker ones soon?) and a new wig to make him look more like Colin/Merlin! XD!

He's not alone, either! He's got Bradley!Doll to go on awesome adventures with around my living room! ;) I still need to fix him a better Arthur costume, though... He's currently wearing a Ken outfit. *headdesk!* Does anyone have any ideas for Arthur's costume? I have no idea what to do for chainmail!



He definitely needs something better! *sweat!* Can't have Arthur being jealous of Merlin's outfit, of all things...xD!

I hope it's okay to post this here! I know it's not conventional crafting, but... X.x; I will be making more outfits for them as soon as I get my sewing machine back from repairs - I absolutely fail at sewing by hand. Would anyone be interested in updates on my boys? *hopeful smile!*

Oh wow! Customising Pullips. I'd definitely be interested in seeing more updates.
They both look gorgeous. Merlin's eyes are simply lovely. Are they the texturised ones?
Apparently some chain mail substitutes are knitted mail that has either been a spraypainted pre-made item or knitted natural twine which is then painted (They might not always look that great close up though >_< ). Alternatively some fabric stores stock a chain mail material or one that looks similar enough.

LOL! xD! That's okay... They're pretty much the same, anyway. *laughs!* I've lost count of the number of times people have asked me, "... you're sure that's a BOY?" while I was working on Colin!doll. He sure looks female from certain angles. ;)

They're so adorable! I love Merlin's little outfit.
If you're having trouble with the chainmail, you can always make Arthur wear a tunic with a nice belt (maybe even pain gold dragons on it, like in the latest episodes). The boots look fine, and you can add a crown. I love Bradley with a crown... *dreamy sigh*

That doll is amazing! How on earth did you do it?! I could never have done that! Oh and chainmail can also be done with silver wool knitted loosely. If you can knit, which I can't. I shall stick to painting. How did you change the eyes and hair? Very well done!
