I don't know about his neckerchief, but somehow you've given me the thought that I should try carving an actual merlin bird, or the heraldic equivalent of one. I think it's worth a try!

And, I know, isn't this icon amazing? zed_pm made it for me when I won some graphics from them in Sweet Charity. I've certainly never had a bad reaction to it~~ XD
